Watch Need to Know: Email Security

Watch the latest addition to our Need to Know training series to help your employees understand the importance of keeping their work and personal emails separate.

Need to Know email security

Over the past three months, we’ve added six new Need to Know training modules to the original 11-module series, with more on the way! Add the new training modules to your ongoing program or use them to build your next training curriculum.

First wave of PhishHunter enhancements

Employee-reported emails now appear in the PhishHunter console the moment an employee reports an email via PhishNotify. This gives you the ability to manually analyze suspicious emails and their contents before PhishHunter’s automated analysis completes. Reported emails sit in an Under Analysis status until the automated review is complete. Once complete, PhishHunter scores and prioritizes the email to help you identify and respond to potential threats.

What else we’re working on

PhishHunter notifications are coming soon to help you provide feedback to learners who report suspicious emails. If you want to get a head start on customizing your notifications, you can build them now. Delivery capabilities will go live in coming releases.

SCORM as a Service updates enhance the learner experience

We updated all SCORM as a Service training modules to add new functionality and improve accessibility for every learner.

Module completion buttons

Instead of closing on completion, the training module browser window remains open once the module is complete. This gives your employees the opportunity to restart and review the training module or exit when ready.

Completion tracking

SCORM as a Service training modules are now marked as complete once the learner views 95% of the module. This improves the accuracy of completion tracking and reports.

Accessibility improvements

We rebuilt the SCORM as a Service training module player to improve keyboard navigation, add display and closed caption options and make training more accessible for every learner.

Previously downloaded SCORM as a Service training modules are not affected by these changes. To apply the above enhancements, please download the latest SCORM as a Service package from the content library and replace each training module in your LMS.

What else is new

Need to Know July Newsletter

This month’s Need to Know Newsletter covers the psychology of malware. Share the PDF to educate your employees or download the editable Microsoft Word document to customize the message or add your organization’s branding.

Disable automated emails

You can now disable your daily phish summary email sent to Infosec IQ administrators, which contains a summary of all phished learners from the previous day. By disabling your daily phish summary email, you can ensure your learners’ personally identifiable information (PII) is not delivered via email to retain GDPR compliance. If disabled, you retain the ability to retrieve phished learner information using reports within Infosec IQ.

Simplified PhishSim delivery times

We simplified the phishing template delivery date and time selector in the PhishSim campaign builder, making it easier to define your email delivery window.
