September 15, 2020

MADISON, WI, September 15, 2020 — Infosec, a global leader in cybersecurity education and security awareness training, today announced its partnership with CertNexus to provide authorized training for three of its certifications. CertNexus certifications validate industry professionals’ knowledge and skills around emerging technologies, including cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT).

Subscribers of the award-winning Infosec Skills education platform have immediate access to CertNexus' Cyber Secure Coder (CSC) certification training. CyberSec First Responder (CFR) and Certified Internet of Things Security Practitioner (CIoTSP) training will be added in the coming months.

“We’re excited for every Infosec Skills learner to have access to this new training,” said Jack Koziol, Infosec CEO and founder. “It’s important for cybersecurity professionals to not only have ways to learn emerging skills like Internet of Things security, but to be able to certify and validate their knowledge for employers. These CertNexus certifications do just that.”

Infosec Skills helps security professionals upskill and get certified with hands-on cybersecurity training. The new CertNexus training joins more than 80 skill and certification learning paths developed by Infosec's elite LX Labs content team. Each learning path contains a collection of courses structured to progress knowledge and close any skill gaps — along with certification practice exams and hands-on cyber ranges to help students learn by doing.

“Infosec is a trusted partner for cybersecurity professionals who require up-to-date skills,” said Jeff Felice, CertNexus President. “We are delighted to have training mapping to CertNexus cybersecurity certifications as part of Infosec Skills.”
