New SecurityIQ Learner Scorecarding Identifies Weakest Links in Your Human Firewall

November 08, 2017

SecurityIQ’s new learner scorecarding generates risk profiles for individuals and departments in your organization to help you identify the weakest links in your human firewall.

Data from 18 risk-related behaviors is compiled to generate learner risk profiles, or grades. This produces a more complete and accurate view of your organization’s security posture by assessing learners’ understanding of security risks beyond just phishing attack avoidance. Grading criteria includes factors such as training completion rates, course participation, reported attacks and more.

Grading criteria defaults are based on InfoSec Institute’s 19 years of educational subject matter expertise. However, grading criteria may be configured within the platform to match your organization’s individual risk tolerance. SecurityIQ clients can click here to configure their learner grades, or visit the SecurityIQ user manualfor more details on this new functionality.

You can use learner grades to automatically deliver targeted training to high-risk learners and correct end-user behavior. Data from scorecarding will also be used in SecurityIQ’s soon-to-be-released learner leaderboards, allowing for program gamification and stronger learner engagement.
