OT Risk Exposure
Video - 00:19:00
Take a look at different threat sources and how they affect OT systems. Threats to operational technology or information technology may result from deliberate attempts to compromise components or their environment. However, a threat does not have to be a deliberate attempt to compromise an OT system. Accidents, bad design, component failure or even natural disaster can cause conditions that expose a system to risk. ICS attacks have affected highly visible systems, such as the 2017 Triton cyberattack on a Middle Eastern company’s safety instrumentation systems.
