In this lab, students will learn how to identify, exploit, and finally mitigate a path injection vulnerability.
By the end of this lab, a student will…
1. Be able to identify code that allows for Path Injections.
2. Be able to exploit said code to escalate from an unprivileged user to an administrator.
3. Be able to implement a secure code solution.

Course description
Start out inside our Security+ cyber range with authentication management and access control schemes bound to put your troubleshooting skills to the test! Then head over to our Path Interception lab to play the role of the adversary by escalating yourself from an unprivileged user to an administrator. To wrap up this month’s Challenge, you’ll attempt a variety of defense evasion techniques inside our Advanced Adversary Tactics cyber range.
