Two industry leaders join forces to provide enhanced training resources and career advancement opportunities for cybersecurity professionals worldwide

Mason, Ohio — May 22, 2025 — Infosec Institute, a leading cybersecurity education provider and part of Cengage Group, and Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) International, a nonprofit organization for cybersecurity professionals, today announced a strategic partnership to help upskill and certify professionals around the world. The partnership comes at a critical time for the industry. According to the Life and Times of Cybersecurity Professionals report from ESG and ISSA, nearly two-thirds (65%) of cybersecurity professionals believe their roles have become more difficult over the past two years, citing increased cybersecurity complexity (74%) and growing attack surfaces (62%) as the top challenges.
