‘A business is only as good as its best employees’ — Madison Magazine

MADISON, Wis., Sept. 19, 2019 Infosec, a leading global cybersecurity education company, has been named one of Madison’s Best Places to Work 2019 by Madison Magazine.

Thirty companies made the list, based on survey responses provided by their employees. Infosec ranks No. 5 in the Medium category, which includes companies employing between 51 — 100 workers.

Infosec opened its Madison headquarters in 2013. A  local workforce of 80 employees is building rewarding careers in the growing cybersecurity education industry. Infosec doubled its workforce in 2018 and continues hiring to meet growing client demand. Leading the list of open positions are opportunities in Sales, Customer Experience and Content Development.

To accommodate the accelerated employee growth, Infosec recently moved to an 11,000 square foot office space, taking the entire tenth floor at 316 W. Washington Ave. The company retains its original headquarters at 311 W. Washington Ave. along with offices in Chicago and Dulles, Virginia.

The company is known for its portfolio of three role-based SaaS platforms delivering cybersecurity skills and security awareness training — Infosec IQ, Infosec Skills and Infosec Flex. Award-winning cybersecurity education for every level of an organization is available, from IT and security professionals to the general workforce and C-suite.

These Infosec employees share what they like best about the company’s culture:

“The Infosec team is knowledgeable, ambitious and fun. I benefit personally and professionally by being surrounded by my teammates every day. Also, Infosec has helped me expand my knowledge with tuition reimbursement. The company has really invested in me. That is a wonderful feeling.” — Sean Voigts, Front End Developer

“Why I love working at Infosec? I have coworkers who are genuinely good people who want to make a difference. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our products, relationships and culture — all while laughing and not taking ourselves too seriously. And to top that off, we get to work in an industry helping to fight cybercrime. How cool is that?” — Sarah Hart, HR Manager

“Definitely the people. There’s a sense of camaraderie you don’t see everywhere. At the end of the day, everyone here knows what is expected of them and we work together to push forward.” — Ted Hoch, Customer Experience Manager. Seen here with Jill Vitale, Customer Experience Specialist.

In addition to being one of Madison’s Best Places to Work, Infosec is a Leader in the Gartner 2019 Magic Quadrant for Security Awareness Computer-Based Training. The company is also a Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Security Awareness with an overall customer rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on 253 reviews, as of July 23, 2019. Other recent recognitions include ranking as a G2 Crowd High Performer and a CompTIA Rising Star Partner Award.
