Course description

This introductory course covers the basic components of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI): public and private key, Certificate Authority (CA), Registration Authority (RA), Certificate Revocation List (CRL) and Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP). The course explains different types and formats of digital certificates and introduces other important PKI concepts, such as key escrow, trust model and certificate pinning.
