Course description

The final course in the CISM certification path is Domain 4, also known as “Security Incident Management.” This revolves around the practices when an incident occurs at an organization and comprises 19% of the exam. The first section, “Planning and Integration,” walks students through the preparation aspect of a security incident as well as the different types of incidents an enterprise may encounter. The second section is titled “Readiness and Assessment” and focuses on preparing an enterprise for an incident. The final section, “Identification and Response,” teaches the tactics and techniques of responding to an incident in the most professional and timely manner possible.
