What does an IT auditor do?

IT auditors require an understanding of internal auditing procedures, risk assessments and compliance requirements. The role encompasses positions ranging from entry-level to senior risk and compliance careers within an organization.

It is one of four entry-level, core cybersecurity roles mapped directly to the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education’s CyberSeek model.
