Boot Camp Style Training

At InfoSec Institute, all of our courses are delivered bootcamp style. What does this mean to you? That you will have an old man screaming at you in army fatigues? No, not even close. Boot camp style training simply means that we have structured our courses to facilitate accelerated learning.

In boot camp style courses, you will spend more time learning key concepts and working on hands-on labs. You will have more two-way dialog with your instructor. You will have a small (10-16 Students or less) class size. In short, you will spend more time training and learning information security concepts in a boot camp environment.

All of our courses start early morning, from 7:30am-8:30am, and run till 6:00pm. After dinner on us, you have the option of going back into the lab for extending training. We find that the vast majority of our students attend the optional nightly exercises. This one on one interaction with your instructor usually lasts until 10:00pm or later. The next day it starts all over again, bright and early at 7:30am. It makes for an exciting and productive week of training. This is what InfoSec Institute means by "boot camp". It is a fun, exciting, and more importantly, the most effective way of learning rapidly .
